Compressor Oil
COMPRESSOR OIL are Premium Air compressor lubricants formulated from selected highly stable base stocks with a special non-hydrolysing anti-wear additive. Resulting with a product which is minimum deposit forming, has long life, protects compressor components from wear and also seperates readily from water.
PROPERTIES
COMPRESSOR OIL results in longer valve cleaning intervals as a result of high resistance to deposit formation, outstanding oxidation stability, low wear as a result of excellent rust protection and high film strength and long service life, up to 4,000 hours in screw type and reciprocating compressors and 2,000 hours in Hydrovane type compressors.
APPLICATIONS
COMPRESSOR OIL GRADES 32, 46, 68 are recommended for all rotary screw compressors whilst COMPRESSOR OIL GRADES 100, 150 should be used in reciprocating compressors operating under severe conditions.
Hydrovane type compressors shoule use COMPRESSOR OIL GRADE 150. All grades can be used as hydraulic oil where the application calls for non-zinc type oil where there are pumps with silver plated surfaces.
